Volunteer Handbook

St. Andrews School welcomes volunteers into our school.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at St. Andrews School. The Lord Selkirk School Division requires all volunteers working in schools or school-sponsored activities to complete a Child Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Records Check, Pledge of Confidentially, the Respect in School online course, and a Volunteer Orientation. Volunteer packages are available from the school office.

The volunteer handbook (see below) will provide you with guidance to help make your volunteer experience a success.

 VOLUNTEER HANDBOOK 2022-23.pdf

All potential volunteers must first complete the volunteer package with a recent Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Records Check, certificate of completion for the Respect in School course, and sign the Pledge of Confidentiality. Please bring completed documentation to the school office.

To access the Respect in School online course, please click here.

Prior to volunteering, volunteers must attend an orientation session with our school administrators. Ensure your documentation is complete prior to attending the orientation. Please call the school office to make an appointment for an orientation session with school administration.
